Meet the Founder: Zehn Baskerville, PMP
Zehn Baskerville is the visionary behind StayRooted—a brand born from art, passion, and purpose. As a lifelong artist, Zehn initially designed apparel for himself, unaware that his creations would spark curiosity and admiration. Again and again, people would ask the same question: “Where did you get that shirt?”
It soon became clear that there was a shared desire for casual apparel that embodies a worldview rooted in liberation, resistance, and authenticity. With this realization, Zehn got to work designing the apparel, building the e-commerce store, and bringing StayRooted to life. The rest is history in the making.

With over twenty years of experience in the private sector, Zehn has scaled some of the fastest-growing organizations in North America (according to INC. 5000). He launched Bnevol in 2021 with a dedication to leveraging expertise and experience to provide best-in-class solutions to mission-focused organizations and leaders. By doing so, Bnevol breaks the traditional monopoly of the for-profit sector over premium solutions, enabling change-makers to amplify their impact with top-tier services.
Advocacy & Global Impact
Zehn actively donates his expertise and leadership to Action for Refugee Life (AReL), where he serves as Director of Project Management. AReL is a refugee-led organization in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, home to over 250,000 forcibly displaced persons (FDPs) from across Africa.
Zehn also holds weekly open-class sessions where he provides instruction and mentorship to students enrolled in AReL’s digital skills courses (web design/development, digital marketing, full stack development, data analytics, cyber security, etc…). These aspiring students get an up-close view of working in the tech field. Advanced students become interns and contribute to real-world projects run by Bnevol, where Zehn leads the execution of projects while facilitating learning throughout the endeavor.
Philanthropy & Bridging the Digital Divide
In addition to donating expertise, Zehn also donates services and resources to mission-focused organizations and leaders. Zehn has donated website design services at either steep discounts or more commonly entirely free. Additionally, Zehn donates his companies’ resources to AReL through an initiative called “Bridging the Digital Divide” where Bnevol has provided AReL's students with a comprehensive set of technical resources: server resources, dedicated server cPanel accounts for each student while sponsoring domains and software subscriptions for the students. Additionally, Bnevol provides ongoing support and maintenance for the technical infrastructure. This initiative ensures that refugee students gain access to professional-grade tools at no cost, giving them an equitable opportunity to thrive in the digital economy.
